AttKids is our learning centre for children with Autism and ADHD. Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA therapy) is the heart of our teaching. It is felt, heard and seen in our classroom. You can hear the children laughing, greeting each other and using their language to engage in their environment. In our ABA Therapy, ABA Building Blocks program, we start building the learner’s vocabulary and sentence structure when requesting, labeling and answering simple questions. Children learn to participate during circle time, group games such as musical chairs and build confidence in their abilities. Some of the greatest and funniest things children say happen in this classroom.
ABA Therapy programs are designed specifically for the learners needs. No two children learn the same way and nor are programs designed the same. Children work on variety of areas of development and not limited to these areas are language, social and play skills, self-help skills and academics. Programs are selected based on the number of hours they are enrolled and their assessment results.
Graduates of our ABA Therapy program , ABA Building Blocks, have meet developmental milestones of a 4 year old.
Disclaimer: Improvements vary for all children based on many factors, but not limited to the age they started therapy, number of hours enrolled per week, attendance and parental involvement.
